Through the Olive Trees
“Through the Olive Trees” is an Iranian film directed by Abbas Kiarostami, released in 1994 (1373 SH). It is part of the Koker Trilogy.
The New Yorker magazine, in a report listing the 44 greatest films featured in the 70-year history of the Cannes Film Festival, included “Through the Olive Trees” as a representative of Iranian cinema. Additionally, the French magazine Les Inrockuptibles placed this film on its list of 100 must-see films.
